We are entering into a new era. . .
So, in 2023, Iler Woods was asked to design for the Grammy Awards. We kept pinching ourselves because we really thought it was a once in a lifetime project. It was exciting, surprising, nerve wracking, and every emotion in between.
Fast forward a year later, we didn’t think we would get the opportunity a second time to design boards for The Grammys and work with our amazing charcuterie collaboration Silverlake Socialite- owner Lauren Delp.Â
It was intense right up until the deadline again, this time trying to complete the project before the huge atmospheric river swept through Southern California. We were asked to make larger boards, more specific designs using our CNC /laser machines- and we were able to create 62 masterpieces.
The hand off went to Lauren- 48 hours before The Grammys and her team worked their magic to make the boards beautiful with edible delights.Â
Then, at 5 pm on Sunday, February 4th we were able to watch on national TV our charcuterie boards being spotlighted with Taylor Swift, Jayzee and Beyonce, Miley Cyrus, Lenny Kravitz, Billy Joel, Billie Eilish, and the list goes on.
So, why are we chronicling this project to you? Ilerwoods and Silverlake Socialite are both small businesses. We do not have a factory, we do not ship items overseas, it is handmade right here in Southern California. We are PROUD to be given these opportunities to show off our craftsmanship and that hardwork really does pay off.Â
This is year 3 for Iler Woods and we are so excited about the possibilities and opportunities to service more businesses, organizations, events, and customers throughout the United States.
